Managing Director and owner of Velo Zürich GmbH has already been on the road a lot this year. In July, he moved his office to Ticino and rode non-stop from Zurich to Locarno in one day. To do this, he emptied 6 of his 7 Bosch batteries, which meant he needed 3kwh of electricity, the equivalent of 0.35l of petrol. For 100km, the Cargobike needed an average of 0.15l of petrol. A car needs an average of 6.18l per 100km, which is 40 times more energy than this Load 60 rohloff HS. The distance of 227km was covered within 9 hours without any breaks worth mentioning. The pure riding time was 7:38h. Average speed: 29.8km/h.

On 14 September 2020, we happily ordered many Bergamont Grandurance Gravelbikes. Today, over 1 1/2 years later, the last of that order has finally been delivered to us. What a joy. 3 are already sold. 3 more would still be available if the boss hadn't snatched one right away. So there are only 2 left....

Apparently there are no longer enough e-bikes in the Netherlands either. We are honoured to have been able to present two Flyer S-pedelecs to the sporty couple Marlies & Jac today. They took the long way by car to buy the last Flyer Goroc3 6.50 HS in the right size and colour.

New vehicles are delivered to us every day. Recently, 19 new flyers arrived, which Ali unpacked with pleasure. We currently have 220 flyers in stock and because many are already sold out at the manufacturer, customers from all over Switzerland drive to Zurich to buy their desired flyer in the right size and colour from us.

We are parting with 12 brands and therefore have 25 vehicles for sale at very attractive prices with immediate effect.

The following will soon no longer be available from us: Cresta, IBEX, Tour de Suisse, Cylan, Winora, Dahon, Nihola, Burley, myBoo, Croozer, Pietro del Po and Hoening.

We want to focus on the high-quality products of 16 strong brands. This means that we will continue to offer the largest selection in Switzerland.

This week, we were allowed to carry out the 572nd workshop order of 2021. Our regular customer Mr. Barmettler commutes regularly to work and has already covered 26,000 kilometres with his Charger. We congratulate him and are pleased with the proven longevity of the timing belt. It is still the original Gates belt. We believe it will do another few thousand kilometres.
